30% Biomass Tax Credit: Units Purchased by December 31, 2011
Are Eligible For Up to a $300 Tax Credit


2011 Tax Credit

 

Biomass tax Credits have been expanded to December 31, 2011 for qualitying units.  The tax credit has been changed to 10% of the qualifying costs.  The credit only applies when installing a qualifying stove or fireplace in a primary place of residence.    The 2011 tax credit provides up to a $300 tax credit for the purchase of a qualifying biomass burning stove that is purchased between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011, which meet a 75% efficiency rating.

Napoleon® customers taking advantage of the tax credit require a Napoleon® Certificate of Eligibility to be remitted with your tax return. Napoleon® is proud of our continued support of the use of renewable energy resources and our commitment to energy efficient heating.
